"I wanted to make a difference"

I wanted to make a difference. I wanted not only to talk about preserving the environment, but to do something concrete about it. I wanted to change the blueprint, to change my mind, to change my habits in order to reduce the carbon footprint of this Embassy. And I bought a REVA and branded it with the Swiss logo.

"Charly", as we call it, runs and runs and runs quietly all over the Dublin area. And for such a use its range is perfectly sufficient, as is its speed -if you abide by the law. For longer distances I use my private -hybrid- car.

Reactions vary from amused to unreservedly positive, but generally people admit that it is a good idea to "go electric".

"Can an ambassador represent his country with dignity by using such a tiny and cheap car" I am asked. Yes, I represent Switzerland in Ireland with dignity. Each time I use Charly to travel from A to B I concretely contribute to keep Dublin clean. And people recognize and appreciate this.

"The School Runs are a Pleasure"

I was looking to buy an electric vehicle for some years.  I was thrilled to see GreenAer were importing some from India and I wanted a test drive as soon as I could get one.  I live in rural West Ireland and it took some convincing Lisa and Olivier at GreenAer that their "city" car was suitable.  All I can say is has surpassed any and all of my expectations. 

I wanted to travel ten miles or so, to the nearest bus route and use public transport from there on!  Instead I drive an extra 25 miles into Galway City where I plug in for a short while before heading home.

The freedom this affords me is unmeasurable.  My wife, who was against the idea at first, now uses "Elly" as we call her as our first car for all local journeys.  It's fun to drive and is so, so easy to maintain.  Seeing is believing and I would recommend a test drive to every driver in Ireland.  I have enjoyed much more motoring than I imagined at an incredibly low cost!  The school runs are even a pleasure these days!  Thank you GreenAer.   Sean Maguire - Co Galway

Re-sale of your REVA

We provide a re-sale facility to all REVA owners. We warranty check all vehicles being sold via GreenAer (essential with EVs), which guarantees the vehicle to prospective purchasers as a Used Approved REVA.

 

Emergency

Loan vehicles

When available, we can provide a loan REVA whilst yours is at our Service Centre. A small daily charge is made for this.
